Custom Firmware for Large Data Analysis
We developed custom firmware tailored for large-scale scientific projects, including its deployment at the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment.
At LZ, over 450 photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) generate high-throughput data at 100GBps streams. To handle this, we built and integrated custom digitizers —also available for broader use—that have over 1,000 channels located underground at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF).
This firmware efficiently manages and controls the flow of data from the digitizers into high-speed storage systems, enabling researchers to analyze the data once it is transferred above ground.
Custom Software Solutions for Scientific Data Integration
We specialize in custom software tailored for scientific applications, seamlessly integrating with firmware to manage and coordinate vast datasets from large-scale experiments—such as the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) dark matter experiment.
Whether you’re dealing with terabytes of experimental data, managing high-speed drive infrastructures, or migrating entire Google Drive organizations, our team delivers powerful, scalable solutions. Our software is designed to streamline data collection, coordination, and analysis—helping researchers stay focused on discovery, not filing data.
Organizing the Captured Data
At the end of the chain is data management.
